3. By the end of their body paragraphs, can you say that the support they provided was strong enough to convince you to agree with them? Why or why not?
3. Writing a Conclusion: When you write a conclusion, you should have two analogies in mind.
- One, think of it as the dessert course of a fine and tasty meal. After having read your body paragraphs, I should be left wanting more, not because I'm still hungry or waiting for you to prove your argument, but because what I read was So good that I want MORE. Don't give me an apple for dessert, give me a delicious homemade apple cobbler! :)
- The second analogy I want you to take on as you write your conclusion is that of a lawyer making their closing statement to the jury. Your body paragraphs is where you stated your case, where you gave me the facts and evidence necessary to proclaim your client "innocent." In your conclusion, your job now is to appeal to my emotion. MOVE me, make me FEEL something. Leave me with the big picture of why it matters and why I should care.

2. Peer Editing Revised Body Paragraphs: Answer the following questions after reading through body paragraphs...
1. Does the evidence in their body paragraphs support their thesis statement?
2. Is the evidence/support that they provide STRONG?
